CD38 Mouse mAb IHC Kit
Product Specifications
Background
CD38 is a type II transmembrane glycoprotein with a molecular weight of 42 kDa. It is mainly expressed in plasma cells, pre-B cells, activated B cells, thymocytes and activated T cells. 90% of CD34 positive cells also express CD38. It is used to study the role of activated T cells in autoimmune diseases and immune deficiency diseases, and to diagnose multiple myeloma (plasmacytoma) . It is a useful marker in the immunotyping of acute leukemia.
