Background
MUC2 is a glycoprotein with a molecular weight of 520kDa. It is mainly distributed in the glandular epithelium of small intestine, salivary gland epithelium and breast epithelium, especially in the goblet cells of small intestine and colon. It is not expressed in the epithelium of other parts. It is mainly used for the study of colon cancer and gastric cancer.
