Product Specifications
Background
Glypican 3 is a carcinoembryonic protein and belongs to the heparan sulfate polysaccharide family. It is mainly expressed in fetal liver, kidney and trophoblast, but not in other normal tissues. Glypican 3 is a sensitive and specific marker of hepatocellular carcinoma. Its expression is related to differentiation. The lower the degree of differentiation, the higher the expression. It is highly expressed in ovarian yolk sac tumor, choriocarcinoma and melanoma.
