Claudin 18 (AB1342) Rabbit mAb (Ready to Use)
Product Specifications
Background
Claudin 18 is a 27kDa membrane protein, belonging to the tight junction protein family. It is highly specifically expressed in gastric epithelial cells, and almost not expressed in other normal tissues. Studies have shown that the expression of gastric tissue increases after cancer, and the abnormal expression in pancreatic cancer, lung cancer, esophageal cancer and ovarian cancer promotes the metastasis of cancer cells. Therefore, antibody based drugs against Claudin 18 can significantly improve the survival rate of patients.
