Chromogranin A (AB1367) Rabbit mAb (Ready to Use)
Product Specifications
Background
Chromogranin A is a soluble acidic protein with a molecular weight of 48- 75 kDa. It is widely expressed in neurons, neuroendocrine cells and tumor cells derived from it. It is also positive in pituitary tumors, islet cell tumors, pheochromocytoma, medullary thyroid carcinoma, parathyroid tumors, paraganglioma and carcinoid. It is mainly used to mark neuroendocrine tumors, and can also be used for the differential diagnosis of medullary thyroid carcinoma and follicular carcinoma.
