CD1a (AB1281) Rabbit mAb (Ready to Use)
Product Specifications
Background
CD1a is a membrane protein, which is mainly expressed in dendritic cells and thymic cortical cells, but not in early thymocytes or mature T cells. CD1a is associated with beta- macroglobulin and may play a role in the development of thymocytes. In clinical diagnosis, the combined expression of CD1a and S- 100 can be used in the diagnosis of Langham's histiocytosis, as well as in the differentiation of thymic tumors from primary lung tumors.
