Anti-Bcl-2 (Phospho-Thr56) Antibody (43064) - 100μl

Bcl-2 protein suppresses apoptosis in a variety of cellular systems including factor-dependent lymphohematopoietic and neural cells. It regulates cell death by controlling the mitochondrial membrane permeability and appears to function in a feedback loop system with caspase. Bcl-2 inhibits caspase acativity either by preventing release of cytochrome c from the mitochondria and/or by binding to apoptosis-activating factor (Apaf-1) . The predicted molecular weight of Bcl-2 is ~26kDa.
