Difloxacin hydrochloride is a broad-spectrum antibacterial agent. Difloxacin hydrochloride inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and exhibits a concentration-dependant bactericidal effect by interference with the activity of DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV[1].
