Human IL-17D Protein, His tag (Animal-Free)

Interleukin 17D (IL-17D) is a 20.2 kDa member of IL-17 family with 185 amino acid residues. IL-17D is expressed by skeletal muscle, brain, adipose tissue, heart, lung, pancreas and secreted to blood. IL-17D can stimulate the production of cytokines such as IL-6, IL-8, GM-CSF, and stimulate local infiltration and proliferation of leukocytes.

Background

Interleukin-17 family proteins are composed of six members (IL-17, IL-17B to IL-17F), which are secretory structure-related proteins with a conserved cysteine knot near the C-terminal, but have considerable sequence differences at the N-terminal. IL-17 family proteins are proinflammatory cytokines that induce local cytokine production and participate in the regulation of immune function. IL-17D is preferentially expressed in skeletal muscle, heart, adipose tissue, lung, pancreas and nervous system.

Storage Conditions

Lyophilized protein product should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution, the protein should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (5% HSA,10% FBS or 0.1%BSA) . Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

Recommended Usage

Always centrifuge tubes before opening. It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized recombinant protein to a concentration of 0.1-1 mg/mL using the buffer we provided, and keep at room temperature for at least 20 min to fully dissolve. Please avoid vortex vigorously.
