Brig 35

Non ionic detergents like Brig 35 are used in immunoassays for diluting antibodies to lower background, and non-specific ag-ab reaction. This detergent is also used in washing buffer from 0.5- 0.1% in all immunoassays (ELISA, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Blot assays and others) to reduce background. Brig 35 is polyoxyethylene laural ether, it lower surface tension of water.

Assay Principle

For diluting antibodies use approximately 1:400 (1 ml into 399 ml) or more dilution. As washing buffer use 1:150 (1 ml into 149 ml buffer) or 1:300 (1 ml into 299 ml).
