Recombinant Rabbit Skeletal Muscle Troponin-C, 3011
Troponin-C is one of three subunits that form the troponin complex of the thin filaments of striated muscle. It has a molecular weight of ~17 kDa. Recombinant fast-twitch skeletal muscle TnC is expressed in E coli as an untagged protein. It is purified under non-denaturing conditions using calcium-dependent affinity chromatography. Rabbit skeletal muscle troponin-C can be used to stabilize cardiac troponin-I in immunoassays.
