Troponin-I is a primary biomarker for the evaluation of cardiac damage. Recombinant human cardiac troponin-I is free of purification tags. It is purified from E. coli. extracts using troponin-C affinity chromatography. The pure protein can be used as antigen for generation of antibodies. If used for the manufacture of immunoassay standards and calibrators it should be stabilized with recombinant rabbit skeletal muscle troponin-C (catalog # 3011) .
