Dog LRG1, 9030

The polypeptide chain of dog LRG1 (leucine rich alpha 2 glycoprotein-1) has a molecular weight of 34,477 Da. It is moderately glycosylated and migrates on reducing SDS PAGE gels as a major band of ~50 kDa with a minor slightly faster migrating band. In humans, LRG1 is an acute phase protein. It is upregulated in the serum of patients suffering from various diseases including ovarian cancer, Kawasaki disease and rheumatoid arthritis.
