Recombinant Human SERPINF2 Protein, His Tag
Molecular Characterization: SERPINF2 (Met28-Lys491) 6Ã-His tagMolecular weight: The protein has a predicted molecular mass of 52.5 kDa after removal of the signal peptide. The apparent molecular mass of SERPINF2-His is approximately 55-70 kDa due to glycosylation.Description: Recombinant Human SERPINF2 Protein with C-terminal6Ã-His tagThis gene encodes a member of the serpin family of serine protease inhibitors. The protein is a major inhibitor of plasmin, which degrades fibrin and various other proteins. Consequently, the proper function of this gene has a major role in regulating the blood clotting pathway. Mutations in this gene result in alpha-2-plasmin inhibitor deficiency, which is characterized by severe hemorrhagic diathesis. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
