Human APCDD1 Protein, His Tag
The protein has a predicted molecular mass of 54.1 kDa after removal of the signal peptide. The apparent molecular mass of APCDD1-His is approximately 55-70 kDa due to glycosylation. This locus encodes an inhibitor of the Wnt signaling pathway. Mutations at this locus have been associated with hereditary hypotrichosis simplex. Increased expression of this gene may also be associated with colorectal carcinogenesis.
