Recombinant human 2B4 protein with C-terminal mouse Fc and6Ã-His tag
Expression Host : HEK293 The protein has a predicted molecular mass of 48.8 kDa after removal of the signal peptide. The apparent molecular mass of 2B4-mFc-His is approximately 70-100 kDa due to glycosylation. This gene encodes a cell surface receptor expressed on natural killer (NK) cells (and some T cells) that mediate non-major histocompatibility complex (MHC) restricted killing. The interaction between NK-cell and target cells via this receptor is thought to modulate NK-cell cytolytic activity. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
