Expression of OX40 is momentary following engagement of T cell receptors. The ligation of OX40-OX40L stimulates proliferation anddifferentiation of activated B cells, increases immunoglobulin secretion and is also a sourceof survival signal for T cells and enables the development of memory T cells.
