This locus encodes a heat shock protein. HSPB6 plays a role in smooth muscle relaxation. Among the diseases which are associated with HSPB6: Cerebral hemorrhage and Cerebral amyloid angiopathy.HSPB6 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 184 amino acids (1-160 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 19.7kDa. HSPB6 is fused to a 24 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Components

HSPB6 protein solution (0.25mg/mL) containing Phosphate buffered saline (pH7.4), 30% glycerol, 1mM DTT, 1mM EDTA and 0.1mM PMSF.

Storage Conditions

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
