SPARC Human, Sf9
Source: Sf9, Baculovirus cells.Sterile Filtered colorless solution.SPARC protein, or secreted protein acidic and rich in cysteine, or osteonectin or basement-membrane protein 40 is a protein that is coded by the SPARC gene in humans. It is a glycoprotein located in bones, that binds to calcium. The osteonectin is secreted from osteoblasts cells when boas are formed, mineralized and promotes the formation and creation of mineral crystals. Asides from calcium, it has been shown that this protein can also bind to collagen.SPARC Human Recombinant produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 295 amino acids (18-303 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 33.8kDa.SPARC is fused to an 9 amino acid His-tag at C-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
