SH2D1B participates in controlling signal transduction through at least 4 receptors, CD84, SLAMF1, LY9 and CD244, expressed on the surface of professional antigen-presenting cells. Two isoforms of the human SH2D1B are produced by alternative splicing. Superior Mesenteric Artery Syndrome is one of the diseases which is associated with SH2D1B. SH2D1B Human Recombinant produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 141 amino acids (1-132a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 16.4kDa (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 18-28kDa) . SH2D1B is expressed with a 6 amino acid His tag at C-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
