CDCP1 Human
Source: Sf9, Baculovirus cells.Sterile Filtered colorless solution.CUB Domain Containing Protein 1, also known as CDCP1 is a transmembrane protein which contains three extracellular CUB domains. CDCP1 is implicated in cell adhesion and cell matrix association. In addition, CDCP1 takes part in the regulation of anchorage versus migration or proliferation versus differentiation through its phosphorylation. CDCP1 is also a novel marker for leukemia diagnosis as well as for immature hematopoietic stem cell subsets. Furthermore, the extracellular region of human CDCP1 shares amino acid identity sequence with the mouse CDCP1.CDCP1 produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 646 amino acids (30-667a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 72.8kDa (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 70-100kDa) . CDCP1 is expressed with an 8 amino acid His tag at C-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
