CD36 Human
Source: Sf9, Insect cells.Sterile filtered colorless solution.CD36 is an integral membrane protein found in a variety cell types of mammals, it is part of the class B scavenger receptor family. In humans it is encoded by the CD36 gene. The protein binds to ligands such as native lipoproteins, collagen, long-chain fatty acids, thrombospondin etc. CD36 plays a crucial role in transporting fatty acids into the cell. CD36 produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 652 amino acids (30-439a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 73.9kDa. (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 70-100kDa) .CD36 is expressed with a 242 amino acid hIgG-His tag at C-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
