Recombinant Mouse PDGF-A (N-FLAG)
Source : E. coli; Platelet-derived growth factor alpha (PDGFA) is a member of PDGF family. PDGFA can form disulfide-linked homodimer or heterodimer with PDGFB. PDGF proteins mediate diverse cellular functions by binding to and inducing the homo- or hetero-dimerization of two receptors (PDGF R alpha and R beta) . PDGFA is expressed in multiple cell types, tissues and is upregulated in various cancers. It is proposed that PDGFA can play a key role in the development and progression of tumor growth by regulating cell proliferation, angiogenesis and metastasis.
