Recombinant Mouse Interferon alpha-1/IFNA-1 (C-His)
Source : Human 293 Cells; Interferon alpha-1 (INFA-1) is a member of the type I interferon family. INFA-1 is produced by macrophages. It has both anti-viral and immunomodulatory activities on target cells. INFA-1 can either suppress or promote the development of autoimmune diabetes. It is predicted that IFN-alpha plays a complex role in the etiology of type 1 diabetes.
