Source : E. coli; Heat shock protein beta-2 (HSPB2) is a member of the small heat shock protein (HSP20) family. It is mainly expressed in the heart and skeletal muscle. HSPB2 can interact with TRAF6, HSPB8, myotonic dystrophy protein kinase and CRYAB. HSPB2 plays an important role in maintenance of muscle structure and function by regulating the activity of myotonic dystrophy protein kinase.
