Recombinant Human Secretogranin-3/SCG3 (C-6His)

Source: Human Cells. MW :52kD. Recombinant Human Secretogranin-3 is produced by our Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Phe20-Leu468 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus. Secretogranin-3 (SCG3) is a member of the chromogranin/secretogranin family of neuroendocrine secretory proteins. SCG3 is expressed in brain, heart, kidney, liver and skeletal muscle. It may serve as precursors for biologically active peptides. Some granins have been shown to function as helper proteins in sorting and proteolytic processing of prohormones; however, the function of this protein is unknown.
