Recombinant Human Polyubiquitin-B/UBB (N-GST, 6His)
Source: E. coli. MW :40.9kD. Recombinant Human Polyubiquitin-B is produced by our E.coli expression system and the target gene encoding Met153-Gly228 is expressed with a GST, 6His tag at the N-terminus. Polyubiquitin-B (UBB) is one of Ubiquitins. Ubiquitin is one of the most conserved proteins known in eukaryotic organisms. Ubiquitin is required for ATP-dependent, non-lysosomal intracellular protein degradation of abnormal proteins and normal proteins with a rapid turnover. Ubiquitin is covalently bound to proteins to be degraded, and presumably labels these proteins for degradation.
