GSK3B Human, sf9
Source: Sf9, Baculovirus cells.Sterile Filtered colorless solution.GSK3B is a serine-threonine kinase that belongs to the glycogen synthase kinase subfamily. GSK3B is involved in energy metabolism, neuronal cell development, and body pattern formation. Polymorphisms in the GSK3B gene have been implicated in modifying risk of Parkinson disease, and studies in mice show that overexpression of the GSK3B gene may be significant to the pathogenesis of Alzheimer disease.GSK3B produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 426 amino acids (1-420a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 47.5kDa (Migrates at 40-57kDa on SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions) .
