PYCR2 Human
Source: Escherichia Coli.Sterile Filtered colorless solution.Pyrroline-5-carboxylate reductase 2 isoform 1 (PYCR2) is a member of the pyrroline-5-carboxylate reductase family. PYCR2 protein catalyzes the conversion of pyrroline-5-carboxylate to proline, which is the last step in proline biosynthesis. The three substrates of the PYCR2 enzyme are L-proline, NAD+, and NADP+, while its four products are 1-pyrroline-5-carboxylate, NADH, NADPH, and H+.PYCR2 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 343 amino acids (1-320 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 36kDa.PYCR2 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
