In addition, C-terminal processed part of PCPE (CT-PCPE) has a metalloproteinase inhibitory activity. Among the diseases which are associated with PCOLCE: bone fracture & oculopharyngeal muscular dystrophy.PCOLCE Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 447 amino acids (26-449 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 47.9kDa. PCOLCE is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
