Partially purified white adipose tissue Ces1d had lipase activity in addition to lesser but detectable neutral cholesteryl ester hydrolase activity. CES1D demonstrates low catalytic efficiency for hydrolysis of CPT-11, a prodrugs for camptothecin used in cancer therapeutics.CES1D Mouse Recombinant produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 555 amino acids (19-565 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 60.9kDa (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 50-70kDa) .CES1D is fused to an 8 amino acid His-tag at C-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
