AKR1C1 promotes the progesterone reduction to its inactive molecule form 20-alpha-hydroxy-progesterone.AKR1C1 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 323 amino acids (1-323) and having a molecular mass of 36.7 kDa.AKR1C1 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
