ACP2 Human
Source: Escherichia Coli.Sterile filtered colorless solution.Acid Phosphatase-2, also known as ACP2 is composed of two subunits, Alpha & beta, and is chemically as well as genetically distinct from red cell acid phosphatase. ACP2 belongs to a family of distinct isoenzymes which hydrolyze orthophosphoric monoesters to alcohol and phosphate. In addition, Acid phosphatase deficiency is caused by mutations in the ACP2-beta subunit as well as ACP3-alpha subunit genes.ACP2 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 373 amino acids (31-380 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 42.9kDa. ACP2 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-Tag at N-Terminus and purified by conventional chromatography techniques.
