Source: Sf9, Baculovirus cells.Sterile Filtered colorless solution.Fractalkine soluble form is chemotactic for t-cells and monocytes, but not for neutrophils. Fractalkine membrane-bound form promotes adhesion of those leukocytes to endothelial cells. Fractalkine regulates leukocyte adhesion and migration processes at the endothelium and binds to CX3CR1. Fractalkine gene is located on human chromosome 16 along with some CC chemokines known as CCL17 and CCL22.Fractalkine Human Recombinant produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 323 amino acids (25-339aa) and having a molecular mass of 34.3kDa.Fractalkine is fused to a 8 amino acid His tag at C-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Storage Conditions

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
