MIF Mouse, His
Source: Escherichia Coli.Sterile Filtered colorless solution. The cytokine Macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF) has been identified to be secreted by the pituitary gland and the monocyte/macrophage and to play an important role in endotoxic shock. MIF has the unique property of being released from macrophages and T cells in response to physiological concentrations of glucocorticoids. The secretion of MIF is tightly regulated and decreases at high, anti-inflammatory steroid concentration.MIF Mouse Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 138 amino acids (1-115 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 14.9kDa. MIF is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
