LIF Human, Sf9
Source: Sf9, Baculovirus cells.Sterile filtered colorless solution.Leukemia Inhibitory Factor also called LIF is a lymphoid factor that promotes long-term maintenance of embryonic stem cells by suppressing spontaneous differentiation. Leukemia Inhibitory Factor has several functions such as cholinergic neuron differentiation, control of stem cell pluripotency, bone & fat metabolism, mitogenesis of factor dependent cell lines & promotion of megakaryocyte production in vivo. Human and mouse LIF exhibit a 78% identity in its amino acid sequence.LIF Human Recombinant produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 189 amino acids (23-202a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 20.8kDa (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 18-40kDa) . LIF is expressed with a 6 amino acid His tag at C-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
