IL21 Human, Sf9
Source: Sf9, Baculovirus cells.Sterile filtered colorless solution.Interleukin-21 isoform 1 or IL21, categorized as a T helper cytokine. IL21 is part of the regulation of immune responses, haematopoiesis and cell-mediated responses. IL21 has a key role in haematopoiesis and immune responses regulation, therefore can affect lymphocyte development. Activation of T cells leads to production of the IL21. The protein has a crucial role in the viral infections persistence. IL21 produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 145 amino acids (30-162a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 16.9kDa. (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 18-28kDa) .IL21 is expressed with a 12 amino acid His tag at C-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
