IGFBP3 is a member of the insulin-like growth factor binding protein (IGFBP) family and encodes a protein with an IGFBP domain and a thyroglobulin type-I domain. The protein forms a ternary complex with insulin-like growth factor acid-labile subunit (IGFALS) and either insulin-like growth factor (IGF) I or II. In this form, it circulates in the plasma, prolonging the half-life of IGFs and altering their interaction with cell surface receptors. Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized. IGFBP3 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 285 amino acids (28-291a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 31kDa.IGFBP3 is fused to a 21 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

IGFBP3 protein solution (1mg/mL) containing 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0) and 10% glycerol.

Storage Conditions

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
