Source : Escherichia Coli. Recombinant HbsAg ayw full length is a 31kDa proteincloned from HBV 320 genome and fused to 6xHis Tag. HBsAg is the surface antigen of the Hepatitis-B-Virus (HBV) . The capsid of a virus has different surface proteins from the rest of the virus. The antigen is a protein that binds specifically on one of these surface proteins. It is commonly referred to as the Australian Antigen.

Storage Conditions
HBsAg Should be stored at 4°C between 3-4 weeks and for future use should be stored below -18°C.
