Recombinant Human Tubulin, Beta 3 Class III
Source : E.coli. TUBB3 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 473 amino acids (1-450 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 52.8kDa. TUBB3 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Tubulin, beta 3 class III (TUBB3), which is the major constituent of microtubules, is primarily Expressed in neurons and is involved in neurogenesis and in axon guidance and maintenance. TUBB3 binds two moles of GTP, one at an exchangeable site on the beta chain and one at a non-exchangeable site on the alpha-chain.
