Recombinant Human Translin-Associated Factor X
Source : Escherichia Coli. TSNAX Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 313 amino acids (1-290 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 35kDa.TSNAX is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. TSNAX is a member of translin family. TSNAX particularly interacts with translin, a DNA-binding protein that binds consensus sequences at breakpoint junctions of chromosomal translocations. TSNAX works in combination with TSN as an endonuclease involves in the activation of the RNA-induced silencing complex (RISC) . TSNAX has bipartite nuclear targeting sequences that afford nuclear transport for translin, which lacks any nuclear targeting motifs.
