Recombinant Human Transcription Elongation Factor A (SII) - 2
Source : E.coli. TCEA2 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 322 amino acids (1-299 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 36kDa.TCEA2 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Transcription Elongation Factor A (SII) - 2 (TCEA2) is located in the nucleus, where it serves as an SII class transcription elongation factor. Elongation factors in this class are responsible for discharging RNA polymerase II ternary complexes from transcriptional arrest at template-encoded arresting sites. TCEA2 interacts with general transcription factor IIB, a basal transcription factor.
