Recombinant Human Tumor-Associated Calcium Signal Transducer 2
Source : E.coli. TACSTD2 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 267 amino acids (31-274a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 29.9kDa. TACSTD2 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Tumor-associated calcium signal transducer 2 (TACSTD2), is a member of to the EPCAM family. TACSTD2 is an intronless gene which encodes a carcinoma-associated antigen. TACSTD2 may act as a growth factor receptor and as a cell surface receptor that transduces calcium signals. Mutations of TACSTD2 have been associated with gelatinous drop-like corneal dystrophy.
