Recombinant Human Phosphatidylinositol Transfer Protein, Beta
Source : Escherichia Coli. PITPNB Human Recombinant fused with a 20 amino acid His tag at N-terminus produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 291 amino acids (1-271 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 33.7kDa. The PITPNB is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Phosphatidylinositol transfer protein beta isoform (PITPNB) is found in the cytoplasm, where it catalyzes the transfer of phosphatidylinositol (PI) and phosphatidylcholine (PC) between membranes. PITPNB mobilizes PI from the endoplasmic reticulum and regulates its release from stored vesicles in the Golgi network. PITPNB is extensively expressed in various tissues.
