Recombinant Human NECAP Endocytosis Associated 2

Source : Escherichia Coli. NECAP2 produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 283 amino acids (1-263a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 30.5 kDa. NECAP2 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. NECAP2 which is involved in endocytosis, is a vital protein paralogues for clathrin-mediated membrane trafficking which are enhanced in CCV layers. NECAP2 protein colocalizes with AP-2 at the plasma membrane by binding AP-2s -ear domain, and interacts with AP-1, AP-2 and several GAE domain proteins termed GGA1, GGA2 and GGA3.

Components

The NECAP2 protein solution (1mg/1ml) is formulated in 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 100mM NaCl, 2mM DTT and 10% glycerol.

Storage Conditions

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
