HAPLN1 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 362 amino acids (16-354 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 40.9kDa.HAPLN1 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Hyaluronan And Proteoglycan Link Protein 1, which is also known as HAPLN1 is a part of the HAPLN family.HAPLN1 contains one Ig-like V-type domain and two Link domains. In the extracellular cartilage matrix, HAPLN1 stabilizes the aggregates of proteoglycan monomers by means of hyaluronic acid .
