GIPC1 Recombinant Protein
Source : Escherichia Coli. GIPC1 Recombinant Human produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 353 amino acids (1-333 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 38.2kDa. The GIPC1 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-Tag at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. GIPC1 is a PDZ domain protein that cooperates with RGS-GAIP and the viral oncoprotein TAX, which transactivates viral and cellular promoters throughout interactions with different transcription factors. GIPC1 particularly localizes to clusters of vesicles close to the plasma membrane and takes part in G protein-coupled signaling pathway participating in regulating Clathrin-coated vesicular trafficking. GIPC1 cooperates with membrane bound Semaphorin F, which is takes part in neuronal axon growth, and controls the subcellular distribution of M-SemF in the brain.
