FCGR2A Recombinant Protein

Source : E.coli. FCGR2A Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 208 amino acids (34-216 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 23.0kDa. FCGR2A is fused to a 25 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. CD32a, also known as FCGR2A, belongs to a family of immunoglobulin Fc receptor genes located on the surface of various immune response cells. FCGR2A which is a cell surface receptor found on phagocytic cells like macrophages and neutrophils, takes part in the process of phagocytosis and clearing of immune complexes. FCGR2A initiates cellular responses against pathogens and soluble antigens by binding to IgG. FCGR2A, which is a low affinity receptor, binds to the Fc region of immunoglobulins gamma.

Greater than 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

Components

FCGR2A protein solution (0.25mg/mL) containing 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 0.1M NaCl, 50% glycerol and 1mM DTT.

Storage Conditions

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
