FAM3B Recombinant Protein

Source : E. coli FAM3B Protein is a 24.1 kDa protein containing 216 amino acids fused to a 10 aa N-Terminal His-tag FAM3B Protein induces apoptosis of alpha and beta cells in a quantity and time dependent way. FAM3B exists in insulin secretory granules and is possibly co-secreted with insulin.

Storage Conditions

Store lyophilized FAM3B uman at -20°C. Aliquot the product after reconstitution to avoid repeated freezing/thawing cycles. Reconstituted FAM3B an be stored at 4°C for a limited period of time; it does not show any change after two weeks at 4°C.

Applications Notes

Add deionized water to prepare a working stock solution of 0.5 mg/ml and let the lyophilized pellet dissolve completely. Product is not sterile! Please filter the product by an appropriate sterile filter before using it in the cell culture.
