FAIM Recombinant Protein

Source : Escherichia Coli. FAIM Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 236 amino acids (1-213aa) and having a molecular mass of 26.4kDa.FAIM is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Fas apoptotic inhibitory molecule, also known as FAIM function as an inducible effector molecule which mediates Fas resistance produced by surface Ig engagement in B cells. In addition FAIM protects against death receptor-triggered apoptosis and regulates B-cell signaling and differentiation. Among the diseases associated with FAIM are hemorrhagic thrombocythemia, and food allergy.

Storage Conditions

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Please avoid freeze thaw cycles.
